Italian Granny

Hello! My name is Maria. I am 75 years old. I live in a little village, near Pisa, in Tuscany. Pisa is famous in the world thanks to its “Leaning Tower”. I can speak Italian. In the evening, in winter, I like sitting in front of the fireplace and I like knitting. I sometimes read stories to my grandchildren, but I need glasses. They like listening to traditional stories like “Cinderella” and ” Little Red Riding Hood”. I like Italian food : pasta and pizza, but my favourite food is traditional Tuscany food like “Cacciucco”, a mixed fish soup and“Pappa al Pomodoro”, a hot soup with tomato sauce and wet bread.
